 <section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>WIOA Technical Amendments Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id726FCD05ED09494292964F5910A96600" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendments to Workforce Innovation And Opportunity Act</header>
 <subsection id="id8E55CE1631CE4BFC8696113337D0FDF1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Local workforce development boards</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 107(i)(1)(B) of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/3122">29 U.S.C. 3122(i)(1)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>the day before the date of enactment of this Act</quote> and inserting <quote>the day before the date of enactment of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="id992CAE01117648F0A31735B7B2BED3A2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Performance accountability system</header><text>Section 116 of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/3141">29 U.S.C. 3141</external-xref>) is amended—</text> <paragraph id="idE8651EC576274A01A3B78665C4570C45"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(2)(A)(iv), by striking <quote>clause (i)(IV)</quote> and inserting <quote>clause (i)(VI)</quote>; and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="id770F2093E9A54531B04CDEF3A44D0F4E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (g), by striking <quote>for a program described in subsection (d)(2)(A)</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id05B37283928C4562A52E6ECFAAC4A22C"><enum>(c)</enum><header>State allotments</header><text>Section 132(b) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/3172">29 U.S.C. 3172(b)</external-xref>) is amended, in paragraphs (1)(B)(iv)(I) and (2)(B)(iii)(I), by inserting <quote>less than</quote> after <quote>fiscal year that is</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="id5589FC6940FB490F9A4A9508770B1B08"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by this section shall take effect as if included in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="id27C41AFF7E654251BB551EF8E0DA3DA9"><enum>3.</enum><header>Establishment of National Council on Disability</header>
 <subsection id="id11F1FBE2B7E44D62842F7B4FC5619E71"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 400(b) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/780">29 U.S.C. 780(b)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text> <quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id9EDE4CDA02C140469803E1FB86671741" style="OLC"> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDFA20B07EDE1D4CEC8BAC7E2AE6BAB4A0"><enum>(b)</enum><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="IDB78EFCA4ED4946EAB9A75C686A75E28D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Each member of the National Council shall serve for a term of 3 years.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDB262FB0742C0452EBDF59B6F73AA5A12" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="ID18DAF85D1D784BEEBEFDD0EF1167CD20"><enum>(A)</enum><text>No member of the National Council may serve more than two consecutive full terms beginning on the date of commencement of the first full term on the Council. Members may serve after the expiration of their terms until their successors have taken office.</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="ID1D64636FD79C4B9DBF624BAADEAD8625" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>As used in this paragraph, the term <term>full term</term> means a term of 3 years.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID7D82E60E5A124BD98C7E29F2E5AA98D5" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Any member appointed to fill a vacancy occurring before the expiration of the term for which such member's predecessor was appointed shall be appointed only for the remainder of such term.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subsection><subsection id="id3CF36418438544E0858EA867055A5CCD"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall take effect as if enacted 1 day after the date of enactment of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/3101">29 U.S.C. 3101 et seq.</external-xref>).</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
