<congress>One Hundred Eighteenth Congress of the United States of America</congress><session display="yes">2d Session</session><enrolled-dateline display="yes">Begun and held at the City of Washington on Wednesday, the third day of January, two thousand and twenty four</enrolled-dateline><legis-num display="yes">S. 1278</legis-num><current-chamber display="no">IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><legis-type display="yes">AN ACT</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To designate the Federal building located at 985 Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, as the <quote>Rosa Parks Federal Building</quote>, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body style="OLC" display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause"><section id="S1" section-type="section-one" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Rosa Parks Federal Building</header><subsection id="idEE0307A60EF4443EBC2A91E94B2118D5" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Designation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Federal building located at 985 Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, shall be known and designated as the <quote>Rosa Parks Federal Building</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="id01A37E49E6534A62B6A2A3250E4B4E46" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">References</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the Federal building referred to in subsection (a) shall be deemed to be a reference to the <quote>Rosa Parks Federal Building</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" commented="no" id="idC33FE77FC6C34FDBBC729F48347B66F1"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeals</header><paragraph display-inline="no-display-inline" commented="no" id="id6ddc3bbce03c40c28876ae5f55e8e9b1"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Public Law 109–98 (119 Stat. 2168) is repealed. </text></paragraph><paragraph display-inline="no-display-inline" commented="no" id="id59ba003a767b44158f1051dcdeb44f4d"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sections 1 and 2 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/101">Public Law 109–101</external-xref> (119 Stat. 2171) are repealed.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Speaker of the House of Representatives</role></attestation-group><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate</role></attestation-group></attestation></bill> |
